Amitabh Bachchan’s real name is “Inquilaab Srivastav” was born on October 11, 1942, in Allahabad U.P, to the great Hindi poet “Harivansh Rai Bachchan”, and his mother is a social activist name “Teji Bachchan”.His father was an “Awadhi (Hindu) Kayastha”, who was free-flow in  Hindi, Awadhi,& Urdu. 

According to his father, Bachchan’s forefather came from a the Pratapgarh district, in the present-day state of Uttar Pradesh in India.

His mother was a “Punjabi Sikh Khatri” Punjab, Teji Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan is an elder brother, and his younger brother is “Ajitabh”.

Amitabh Bachchan has done his education from “ Boys’ High School & College”,  and from Allahabad “Sherwood College”, Nainital and further education from “Kirori Mal College”, University of Delhi. 

After finishing his study his father “Harivansh Rai Bachchan” go to  Prithvi Theatre the founder is Prithviraj Kapoor. To see if there was an opening for Amitabh, but Kapoor rejected it. 

Amitabh Bachchan also applied for a newsreader in “All India Radio” but “failed the audition” due to having a heavy voice.

Later on, he became a business Tiguan for “Bird Company” in Kolkata and worked in the theatre before began his film career. 

His mother might have had some control over Amitabh Bachchan’s choice of career because she always thinks that he should “take center stage”.

His surname was Shrivastava, Amitabh’s father Harivansh Rai, who opposed the caste system, had adopted the pen name Bachchan (“child-like” in colloquial Hindi), and which he started all of his works. 

Amitabh Bachchan father Harivansh rai Bachchan was looking to get admitted to a school, father and mother decided the family’s name should be Bachchan, not Shrivastava.

After advice by his mother in 1969  Amitabh debuted in Hindi picture as a voice narrator, and the director Mrinal Sen’s project ‘Bhuvan Shome.’ The flim, famous actor Utpal Dutt, has won the ‘National Award.’ for this movie.

In the year 1969,he acts with co-star  Jalal Agha, Utpal Dutt, Anwar Ali, and Madhu in the film ‘Saat Hindustani.’

He acts in a supporting role in Rajesh Khanna in the film ‘Anand.’ His render of a fatalistic doctor was carping acclaimed. He has done   movies like ‘Parwana and ‘Reshma Aur Shera’  He also acted a comic role in Jaya Bhaduri’s Guddi.’

The film ‘Bombay to Goa,’ which launch in 1972, directed by S. Ramanathan’s was Bachchan act a comic role.

The action,thrill and crime film ‘Zanjeer,’ the flim was directed by PrakashMehra, was released in 1973.
